Theatre Night
The European Theater Night project is a one-day event dedicated to the performing and arts arts. It is held simultaneously in 11 European countries (Croatia, november. On that day, the theater becomes the main place for meeting, dialogue, socializing and new insights, both artists and theater workers, as well as the audience. On that day, theaters donate performances, and also open their doors to the audience, so, breaking the illusion of theater for a moment, they deepen the connection that the audience has with those who play for it and the place where they do it.
In addition to a series of ready-made plays, Theater Night expands its program to international co-productions, exchanges of plays between domestic theaters, reading and staging texts by contemporary European authors, round tables and meetings with live broadcasts over the Internet. All events within this one-day and all-night event are gathered around one goal - to achieve a new and different community of theater audiences and theater artists in a unique experience. In 2021, the Municipality of Promina joined this European project with its program. On November 20, 2021, at 12 o'clock, the Puppet Factory performed "Hedgehog's House" with Mario Kovač and Petra Radin in the lead roles, and at 7 pm Ecija Ojdanić, with the Moruzgva Theater, performed the play "Vla-Vla-Vlajland cabaret". The plays were performed in the premises of the House of Culture in Oklaj, and according to the reactions, it could be concluded that the audience really enjoyed the performances of eminent Croatian actors.
