One hundred meters south of the Drniš-Oklaj road, near the Klepo houses, an in situ antient sarcophagus has been found. Most of it is buried in the ground, and the top of the sarcophagus is leveled with the surrounding terrain. The lid is 2.70 m long, 1.43 m wide and 0.5 m high and is perforated on the south side. The lid is in the form of a steeply pitched gabled roof, the corners decorated with acroterias and an inscription slate on its north side with letters completely worn out. In 1892, sixty meters north of the sarcophagus a tombstone inscription was found, which leads to the conclusion that there was a Roman necropolis on this site, which people nowadays call Grudine. In order to determine the historical truth and to protect, restore and revitalize this cultural heritage, an archeological excavation process has started.
